As the design strategist, I led the development of the brand’s efforts and initiatives on racial equity.

My role included project management, defining and establishing goals and metrics, building data collection tools, and reviewing data analytics to establish a baseline to help implement a long term strategic plan. 

 

My approach was to leverage the co-creation process to inform the strategy. I designed and facilitated workshops for employees to engage in collective learning and individual reflections on how structural racism shows up in the design field at large.

 

The objective is to expand and prioritize BIPOC led brand partnerships and the creation of a Diversity Supplier Program.
